Doug Grawe is the founder and CEO of the Grawe Group, a law firm specializing in the transportation industry. After 15 years as general counsel and one of the executive leaders at a large trucking and logistics organization, Doug started the Grawe Group to help carriers and brokers, big and small. He has built and managed independent contractor programs and lease purchase programs for years and supported the rights of carriers and owner operators to be independent throughout his career. Doug has produced many articles and presentations on independent contractor status for the industry and has been asked to submit briefs to the U.S. Supreme Court regarding independent contractors in trucking. He has served on multiple industry boards and committees, including those with ATA, TCA, the Minnesota Trucking Association and more.
