CyntrX, SpeedGauge partner to expand speed monitoring service

CyntrX announced its service partnership with SpeedGauge, an international provider of driver behavior and speed management solutions.

CyntrX announced its service partnership with SpeedGauge, an international provider of driver behavior and speed management solutions. The partnership is designed to expand the CyntrX service offering with an advanced speed monitoring tool for fleet managers focused on improving safety and performance related to road speed and driving patterns in North America.

According to the American Trucking Association, speeding has the following impact on safety and performance:

  • Fatal speed related crashes in 2013 – 898
  • Speed related injury crashes in 2013 – 16,790
  • Speed related crashes with property damage in 2013 – 37,950
  • $15 additional maintenance cost per thousand miles driven on all road types
