Bead breaker eliminates the need to turn tire

July 31, 2012

A new truck tire bead breaker from Esco can break both truck tire beads at the same time, eliminating the need to lift and turn the truck tire/wheel assembly.

With the pneumatic truck tire bead breaker, a technician simply rolls the assembly into the unit and breaks both beads at the same time.

The Model 20425 is powered by standard shop or tire service truck air at 100 psi to develop a bead breaking force of over 5,000 lbs. Esco said. The unit will handle all truck tire/wheel sizes 19.5 in. through 24.5 in., including all super singles and X-One type wide base tire/wheels.

Measuring just 28 in. by 32 in., the unit can be installed on the power lift gates of all tire service trucks.
