Betts Truck Parts & Service adds drivetrain support

Betts Truck Parts & Service is making drivetrain expert Shawn Mahoney available to customers at all eight company locations in Arizona, California, and Oregon.

Mahoney will help customers with training in the field and with telephone technical support. Mahoney has also provided extensive training to Betts Truck Parts and Service sales and service teams, extending local expertise throughout the branch network.

His drivetrain expertise includes 11 years at Eaton Corporation. From 2001 to 2006, Mahoney was the training manager for the company responsible for managing and delivering training in 10 Western U.S. states.

“When it comes to drivetrain products, whether transmissions, differentials, clutches or related components, Shawn is our resident expert,” said John Devany, sales manager, Betts Truck Parts & Service. “His valuable experience is available to help our customers succeed in the challenging and competitive environment they face each day. Shawn can help customers diagnose driveline problems regardless of brand.”

In addition to his expertise in drivetrain products, Mahoney has experience with fleet software systems. He held the title of sales manager at both Cetaris and TMW Systems.
