Carrier Transicold enhances website

July 13, 2012

Carrier Transicold has updated its website with a new look, faster navigation, and an expanded focus on the user, the company said. The site, located at www.trucktrailer.carrier.com, showcases Carrier Transicold’s refrigerated truck, trailer and rail products.

The new website includes more product information, new functionality and quick links to product solutions and key functions such as the dealer locator and newsletter subscription requests. Other pages, including those containing installation instructions and information on Carrier Transicold’s aftermarket support programs, have been redesigned for more efficient access to information, the company added.

“The website improvements were based on feedback from customers, who told us they wanted quicker access to important information,” said David Kiefer, director of marketing and product management. “Not only is the website more customer friendly, but it also showcases our customers – both their applications and equipment – through an entirely new ‘Customer Connection’ section.”

The Customer Connection section offers haulers the chance to show off their Carrier Transicold units. Customers may submit digital photos of their equipment by emailing them to [email protected] for consideration for posting.

The section also includes a customer success stories section where case studies may be viewed and downloaded. Current and back issues of Carrier’s free “eFlash” newsletters can also be found within the Customer Connection.

“For the benefit of dealers and media who need easier access to photos of Carrier equipment, we have also added a media room,” Kiefer said. In addition to news releases and recent advertisements, the media room offers low- and high-resolution digital images for download.”
