Espar receives awards for quality from DTNA and GM

Truck-cab heater manufacturer Espar has been honored this year with two awards from OEM customers, according to the company.

In June, Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) presented Espar with their Masters of Quality award. Espar noted that the award is the highest recognition DTNA gives to its suppliers. Only the top 3% of more than a 1,000 suppliers earn it each year.

“This award acknowledges our dedication to continually improve the performance of our heater products and the devotion of our team to service our heavy-duty truck customer,” noted Ashu Aggarwal, Espar quality manager.

In September, General Motors presented their GM Supplier Quality Excellence Award to Espar. It was accepted by Aggarwal and by Volker Hohensee, Espar president, and at an awards ceremony in Detroit. This marked the second year in a row that the company has received this honor from GM. The award is in recognition of Espar’s quality excellence, on-time delivery, added value and customer service.
