Hendrickson Bumper and Trim has announced its lightweight Aero Clad bumper is now available as a production option on International ProStar tractors. Made of stainless-clad aluminum, Aero Clad is a fixed-mount bumper that maximizes style, durability, ground clearance and weight savings, said Hendrickson.
Made by bonding high-strength, corrosion-resistant stainless steel to lightweight aluminum then polished to a bright mirror finish, Aero Clad bumpers are said to offer a durable, lightweight and environmentally friendly alternative to chrome plating, said the company.
Using state-of-the-art metal forming and advanced materials, the company says the bumper for the ProStar provides up to 2.75 in. of improved ground clearance, making it ideal for vocational applications.
