FleetPride is acquiring the assets of Ott’s Friction Supply in Oregon, expanding its footprint in that state.
Terms were not disclosed.
Ott’s has operations in Portland and Eugene.
“Portland is a strategic market for FleetPride because of our unwavering commitment to serve our customers. Expanding our footprint, both through acquisition and greenfield activity, allows us to offer our customers more distribution options to deliver product when and where they need it,” explained Kevin Peters, CEO, FleetPride.
Ott’s Friction Supply has a long rich history dating back to its origins in 1925 and has been owned and operated by Jerry Weis, CEO, and Chris Sweet, president, since 1999.
“Through Jerry and Chris’ leadership, Ott’s has extended its stellar reputation in this market of superior customer service, technical support, and a knowledgeable and experienced inside and outside sales team,” Peters said.
