SelecTrucks has announced it will extend its 2008 fuel card and special financing promotions through March 31, 2009. The company will give a $2,000 fuel card to all customers that purchase a mid-roof 2003 and 2004 Freightliner Columbia truck powered by a Mercedes-Benz 400 engine, which the company said helps fuel efficiency due to its aerodynamic design.
In addition, SelecTrucks will offer a limited-time interest rate of 4.75% with no down payment to customers with a good credit rating, or a down-payment matching plan up to $3,500, for buyers of 2003 and 2004 Freightliner Columbia and Century Class S/T trucks with various specifications.
“We’re committed to offering our customers support during the current credit crunch,” said Drew Backeberg, manager of marketing and customer support at Daimler Trucks Remarketing Corporation. “We’re extending these promotions into 2009 in the hopes that we’ll meet the needs of more customers dealing with the demands of this market.”
