Grote Industries has released two new versions of its SlimWhite Lamp, in 48-in. and 18-in. lengths. Both lamps are 1.25 in. wide and 0.75 in. thick, Grote said.
The 18-in. LED lamp provides 485 lumen of light output with 6 diodes, has a convenient on-off switch and is ideal for locations that require plenty of light but have limited mounting space. The 48-in. model has 10 diodes and provides long expanses with even lighting.
The lamps’ low heat emissions virtually eliminate the threat of contact burns or radiant heat damage and the cool operating temperature of each lamp reduces the heat load related to illuminating any interior work or storage space.
Both lamps come in 12-volt (.6-amp) configurations and the 18-inch lamp is also available in a 24-volt (.3-amp) style. The lamps are designed to operate in temperatures of between -40 deg. F and 122 deg. F.
