Hendrickson offers new suspension selector tool, updates training class schedule

April 9, 2013

Hendrickson Truck Commercial Vehicle Systems recently rolled out a new Vocational Truck Suspension Selector Tool, while also scheduling its next round of technical suspension training for the heavy-duty transportation industry.

Hendrickson said its new online interactive selector tool allows users to obtain rear suspension recommendations for general truck and tractor operations in vocational and severe-service applications – receiving Hendrickson’s general recommendations for the suspension that may be suitable for their particular needs.

The company said results are calculated based on selections related to intended application, vehicle axle configuration, gross rear axle weight rating, and suspension type.

Hendrickson also said its next round of suspension training classes will be held May 7 through May 10 this year at the Universal Technical Institute (UTI) in Dallas Fort Worth area as part of its ongoing Hendrickson Vehicle Suspension Institute (HVSI) program.

The HVSI program provides technicians as well as parts and service personnel with a basic orientation for the recommended installation, service, maintenance and repair procedures for Hendrickson truck, trailer, and lift axle suspension systems, the company said, with training conducted by Hendrickson’s regional field service managers.

For additional information about HVSI and how to sign up for upcoming and future sessions, contact Jose Cabral at (630) 910-2836 or any local Hendrickson representative.
