Kane Is Able expands fleet

Kane Is Able, a third-party logistics company, is expanding its fleet with the purchase of 30 new Kenworth T680 trucks.

The trucks, powered by the Paccar MX-13 engine, will be outfitted with a suite of technologies and design features to improve the driving experience, the fleet said.

Kane said it expects longer service intervals, increased uptime, lower operating costs, and higher resale value.

“We’re making this investment because we know these trucks are more reliable for KANE and our customers, more comfortable for our drivers, cleaner for the environment, and safer for everyone,” said Lawrence Catanzaro, senior transportation director.

Kane operates 25 distribution centers in major markets across the U.S. Its fleet numbers 150 power units and 600 trailers.
