Mack Trucks has delivered 36 Vision Elite model tractors with 70-in. high-rise sleepers to the U.S. Army Tacom Life Cycle Management Command

Mack Trucks has delivered 36 Vision Elite model tractors with 70-in. high-rise sleepers to the U.S. Army Tacom Life Cycle Management Command.

The Vision Elite is designed for export markets and is powered by an export version of the Mack MP8 13-liter engine. Domestically, the tractor is known as the Pinnacle Axle Back. The trucks were built at the New River Valley Plant in Dublin, VA.

The 36 are part of 80 units scheduled for delivery this year as part of a $28.5 million, three-year contract. Also to be delivered are lowboy trailers and spare parts.
