Mettler Toledo has created a new solution that helps users of analog scales, regardless of make, to replace aging load cells. The Powercell PDX load cells provides an option to replacing the entire scale, the company said.
A Powercell PDX conversion can provide dramatic savings by reducing downtime, maintenance and weighing errors. The conversion kits are designed for the specific brand of scale the company already owns, so it is easy for Mettler Toledo technicians to perform the conversion with minimal downtime, the company noted.
Customers receive state-of-the-art performance for a fraction of the cost of a new scale.
Built-in predictive diagnostics verify the performance of each load cell and simplify maintenance.
Conversion kits with NTEP approval are for the following vehicle scales:
- Avery Weigh-Tronix (Model FCTS)
- Fairbanks (Type S Lever)
- Rice Lake (Survivor OTR)
