Corning Inc. has entered into an agreement with Detroit Diesel Corp. (DDC) to supply diesel emission control products to help the engine maker meet EPA ’07 emission standards.
Corning and DDC, a subsidiary of DaimlerChrysler AG, worked together to integrate Corning DuraTrap filters and Corning Celcor substrates into DDC’S emissions control systems.
“This agreement further strengthens our relationship with Detroit Diesel and continues to reinforce our position as a leader in the heavy-duty diesel market,” said Thomas R. Hinman, senior vp & gm of Corning Diesel Technologies.
