Snap-on has released a new heavy-duty demolition chisel that combines the company’s “crown” handle and the strength and durability of a special allow steel chisel in a single tool.

Features of the new tool include high-impact composite material for both cold and hot weather resistance and bar retention; large striker cap for a big impact surface; tough steel alloy; and good balance and weight without being too long or heavy.

“The new Snap-on heavy-duty demolition chisel is a time-saving tool that provides comfort and safety with its ergonomic handle,” said Bryan Hantke, product manager. “It is ideal for quick work regardless of location and is a great alternative to air hammers. This versatile tool is perfect for general automotive use as well as salvage work, breaking apart rims, separating frame rails, removing fasteners and rivets or separating exhaust components and hangers.”

Snap-on also said the tool is a good alternative to air hammers.
