A new mirror designed as a factory option on all 2011 Ford medium-duty F-650 and F-750 trucks offers improved visibility through a larger field of view.

The 2020XG mirrors, manufactured by vehicle supplier Velvac, use a glass system that is 15 to 20% wider than conventional “West Coast” mirrors. They meet FMVSS 111 vision requirements for wide-body trucks and vans, the company said.

The mirrors are suitable for any F-650 or F-750 truck with options available for 96-in. and 102-in. body widths on Ford chassis cabs. They are manually adjustable and feature both a large flat glass and convex glass viewing area.

A pivot system allows the mirrors to fold forward or backward.
