Thermo King is offering a series of rebates for select products as well as introducing a number of new products.

On existing products, Thermo King is offering rebates of up to $1,000 (depending on quantity) on select Espar heaters, including the Airtronic D4 truck cab heaters and D2 truck cab heaters, both with 12 volt thermostats, mini controller, and digital controller. Rebates are limited to one per month, the company said.

Thermo King is also offering an instant rebate program for fleets buying quantities of Thermo King and PG Parts for Carrier units. Rebates are up to $250 per item, which includes: belts, alternators, driers, electrical, water pumps, refrigeration parts, starters, PrimAir chutes, filters, compressors, EON batteries, and PG Parts.

The rebate program runs until Sept. 30, 2011.

In addition to the rebates, Thermo King has introduced a number of new items, including the T-570R system, the ColdCube, and new filtration options designed for fall and winter operation.

The T-570R replaces the MD-100 unit, and is designed for 14- to 18-ft. refrigerated truck bodies. According to Thermo King, the unit delivers 30% more capacity and 10% better fuel efficiency than the MD-100. It includes the TSR control system, the TK370 engine and the X-214 compressor.

For those with portable cooling needs, the ColdCube offers a solution. An entry-level refrigeration option, the ColdCube can be plugged into a standard wall outlet for continuous cooling or loaded into a van/truck. It can run on both AC and DC power.

To combat fuel switchover and the increased use of additives, Thermo King is offering two new fuel filtration solutions. The in-unit mounted pre-strainer system and the unheated complete fuel filtration system, both available on Sept. 19, are designed to prevent fuel-related service needs.

Thermo King is also making its Smooth Air evaporator blower assembly available as an aftermarket upgrade on its SB and SB+ trailer units. The Smooth Air is standard on new SB-30 Series and Spectrum trailer units.

According to the company, the Smooth Air blower assembly can result in up to a 7% fuel savings while increasing capacity and pulldown and cutting power usage 24%.
