New ordering system promises speedier processing

A new ordering system has been put in place by Remy Inc., provider of Delco Remy heavy duty starters and alternators.

The system, which went into operation on July 15, is a “world-class web application that will streamline the ordering process for Remy customers,” the company said. Customers will see a speedier process with more system up-time, user-friendly web interfaces, and simplified navigation, according to Remy.

The new system also includes “enhanced part number availability,” order status and history look-up capabilities.

Remy said that customers are being notified directly and tutorials are being provided to explain all the features and benefits of the system.
