Said to save up to 263 lbs. over competing rear air suspensions, the Hendrickson HTB LT is now available on the International ProStar

Said to save up to 263 lbs. over competing rear air suspensions, the Hendrickson HTB LT is now available on the International ProStar, according to Hendrickson Truck Suspension Systems.

The HTB LT is a non-torque reactive rear air suspension with a torque box system designed to improve multi-axial stability and control. It is said to be the lightest 40,000-lb.-capacity air suspension in its class. Its air springs carry the entire vertical load, reducing vibration.

The HTB LT's design boasts parallelogram geometry, which eliminates leaf springs and reduces components for additional weight savings. It also features cross-members, frame hangers and torque roads designed to further reduce weight, parts count and complexity.
