SAF-Holland opens Ohio distribution center

SAF-Holland has opened a new 85,000 sq. ft. aftermarket parts distribution center in Cincinnati, OH. The facility will supply replacement parts to company distribution centers throughout North America

SAF-Holland has opened a new 85,000 sq. ft. aftermarket parts distribution center in Cincinnati, OH. The facility will supply replacement parts to company distribution centers throughout North America.

The facility will stock over 3,000 parts, assemblies, and service kits and employ 11. It includes 21 loading docks with 21-ft. ceiling clearances and is located close to major highways and the Cincinnati International Airport.

“The new facility will provide more efficient parts delivery to our distribution network,” said Jason Heath, marketing manager for the company’s North American aftermarket business unit. “Distributor order-to-delivery time is projected to improve considerably, thereby reducing the time customers will need to wait for parts.”

Any order placed on or after May 31, 2011, will be processed through the new facility, SAF-Holland said. Full truckload orders will continue to be shipped from regional plants.
