Stemco, Longview, TX, has purchased V.W. Kaiser Engineering, maker of kings and bushings for kingpin and suspension applications. Kaiser will remain at its current headquarters and manufacturing facility in Millington, MI. Todd Anderson, formerly vp-operations for Stemco, has been appointed vp and gm of Stemco-Kaiser. Stemco maufactures truck and trailer wheel-end products.

A 36-mo. lease-to-own program is now available for fleets that want to retrofit trailers with the Meritor Tire Inflation System (MTIS) by PSI. Part of an agreement with Wirth Business Credit, the financing option covers product and labor costs. For more information, call 210-222-1926.

Vipar Heavy Duty, a truck parts network, is expanding into the commercial vehicle equipment market with the formation of a wholly owned subsidiary, VHD Equipment Network LLC. The new unit will focus on companies that distribute, install, buy, sell and repair truck-mounted equipment for vocational applications.
