The Holland Group says it has added a base axle offering to its CB400 air suspension platform, creating the CB4000 Series. The CB400 design, introduced earlier this year, incorporates an advanced axle-alignment feature, a highly engineered cast trailing arm and patent-pending bushing technology on the company's high-strength slider.

The new integrated system is being marketed as a CB4000 and will serve as the beginning of their 100 axle series. The company says this was done to provide customers with the option of adding an axle to their base suspension offering. Therefore, model numbers extended to a fourth digit will serve to differentiate integrated suspension/axle systems from base suspension choices.

According to Holland, the CB4000 air suspension/slider/axle integrated system with Swing-Align is now available at most major North American truck OEMs.
