In addition to meeting the DDC spec, all ChevronTexaco heavy-duty diesel engine oils are compliant with the industry's API CI-4 PLUS requirements.

According to Gary Parsons, commercial automotive business unit manager, “New engine technologies are much more complex, which means OEMs need lubricants that meet both API and their own unique requirements.”
