    TIP changes its name

    The TIP trailer leasing market brand will now be known as the Trailer Fleet Business of GE, after its parent, the General Electric Co. According to Marty Thomas, president and CEO, We've gradually expanded our service offerings beyond just trailer rental and leasing, so our move to change names to the GE brand reflects that reality. The Trailer Fleet Services division of GE now includes TIP Rental

    The TIP trailer leasing market brand will now be known as the Trailer Fleet Business of GE, after its parent, the General Electric Co.

    According to Marty Thomas, president and CEO, “We've gradually expanded our service offerings beyond just trailer rental and leasing, so our move to change names to the GE brand reflects that reality.”

    The Trailer Fleet Services division of GE now includes TIP Rental & Leasing, Financing & Insurance, GE VeriWise asset intelligence, Maintenance Management, and Remarketing.
