Holland USA has announced the release of PH-210, PH-310 and PH-410 Series pintle hooks. The new products offer lighter weight and more durable designs, the manufacturer said.
All feature new, “true” one-hand latch operation with an automatic secondary lock and no chains or cotter pins. Additionally, all three models come equipped with new air chamber options with different plunger rod lengths, and are available without the air chamber and plunger or with the plunger alone and no air chamber. They can be used as an air-cushioned pintle hook or as a standard rigid pintle hook without the air cushion, Holland USA said.
The PH-210 and the PH-410 Series pintle hooks replace the PH-200 and the PH-400 Series, respectively. The PH-210 maintains the same 4-bolt mounting pattern and is rated for 18,000-lbs maximum vertical load and 90,000-lbs maximum gross trailer weight. The PH-410 comes with a 6-bolt mounting pattern and is rated for 20,000-lbs maximum vertical load and 100,000-lbs maximum gross trailer weight.
The all-new PH-310 Series is built off the PH-210 with the addition of a six-bolt mounting configuration and increased capacities of 20,000-lbs maximum vertical load and 100,000-lbs maximum gross trailer weight.
The PH-411 replaces the former PH-400-H series, featuring an efficient mounting structure which only requires six bolts instead of eight while maintaining capacities of 20,000-lbs maximum vertical load and 100,000-lbs maximum gross trailer weight. The PH-411 incorporates all the new changes common with the PH-410.
