Peterbilt announces 2011 dealer awards

Peterbilt Motors Co. has named Stahl Peterbilt, Rush Peterbilt Truck Center-Houston, and Allstate Peterbilt Group winners of its top dealer awards for 2011.

Stahl Peterbilt, Edmonton, Canada, was named the North American Dealer of the Year, the company’s top award. Eddy Stahl, dealer principal of Stahl Peterbilt, accepted the award at the annual Peterbilt Dealer Meeting held in Frisco, TX.

Stahl Peterbilt won the award based upon superior performance in all aspects of its business including truck sales, service performance, parts sales growth and finance operations including PacLease representation, Peterbilt said.

“Stahl Peterbilt achieved exceptional heavy duty and medium duty market share and an impressive parts and service absorption level,” said Bill Kozek, Peterbilt general manager andPaccar vice president. “All levels of this organization display an outstanding dedication and passion for the business. This dealer truly represents the class of the industry.”

Since becoming a Peterbilt dealer in 2003 Stahl Peterbilt has been recognized as Peterbilt’s Dealer of the Year twice and four times as a Best in Class dealer.

Rush Peterbilt Truck Center-Houston was named the Medium Duty Dealer of the Year. Marvin Rush and Rusty Rush, dealer principals of Rush Peterbilt Truck Centers, accepted the award at the annual Peterbilt Dealer Meeting held in Frisco, TX.

Rush Peterbilt Truck Center continues to recognize the value of selling the Peterbilt medium duty line across all market segments,” said Kozek. “The overall breadth and strength of Peterbilt medium duty products, combined with the outstanding support and commitment of our employees results in outstanding customer satisfaction.”

“This award is a tribute to our dedicated medium duty sales manager and medium duty sales team who helped us achieve a 43% market share last year,” said Rusty Rush. “Peterbilt’s diverse medium duty product line including the ATD Truck of the Year Model 210 along with the conventional models 325, 330, 337 and the 348, promise outstanding quality and versatility to our customers.”

Allstate Peterbilt Group of South St. Paul, MN, was the winner of the first Paccar MX Engine Dealer of the Year. Don Larson, dealer principal, accepted the award.

“The Paccar MX Engine Award recognizes the Peterbilt dealership group that provides the best all-around sales and service support of the MX Engine product,” said Kozek. “Allstate Peterbilt is fully committed to increasing the number of MX Engines in operation and providing excellent customer service.”
