Pilot testing the PTS50

Ireland-based Prime Transport Solutions Ltd. (PTS) has been testing a new lightweight trailer landing gear system in the U.S. for the last year and a half called the PTS50; a patent-pending landing gear that can be used on containers and intermodal chassis units as well. The company said the PTS50 design not only reduces weight and maintenance expense but is more aerodynamically and ergonomically designed to save fuel and reduce the chance of injury.
