Racor, a division of Parker Hannifin Corp., has introduced closed crankcase ventilation (CCV) heater kits, an optional accessory for engines operating in extreme weather.

According to the company, the CCV heater band and insulating sleeve are placed over the CCV canister, insulating the assembly and preventing emulsion build-up created by condensing water vapors combined with oil droplets in the cold air stream of the CCV system.

The CCV will be available for the Racor CCV4500, CCV6000 and CCV8000 models, and offers easy installation, the company said.
