TMD Friction publishes drum brake lining catalog

NEW ORLEANS. TMD Friction has published a Textar & Don Drum Brake Lining catalog for commerical vehicles. The announcement was made this week at Waste Expo 2013 in New Orleans.

The catalog provides information on friction materials for specific applications; for on-highway tractor trailers, buses & coaches and the vocational vehicles.

According to TMD, the Textar premium quality OE formulas are designed for discerning long life focused customers and fleets. The formulas are specifically designed to meet today´s OE performance standards and demands including reduced stopping distance regulations (T5000 & T1200), as well as the demands of heavy duty applications such as vocational vehicles, transit buses & coaches, refuse, mining, logging and all heavy load vehicles.

TMD Textar formulas are available for front brakes and for 20K, 23K, 25K, 26K and 29K lbs. rated axles.

TMD’s DON product offering covers all applications in the economy and standard grade friction materials up to 23K lbs. rated brakes.

Also included in the catalog are application charts and cross-reference charts so users can easily identify the correct lining for their specific vehicle application.
