Wheel-end rebuilt kit

Jan. 29, 2013

The Timken Co. has released the Set-Right commercial vehicle hub rebuild kit for the Timken 454-Series steer applications.

“Engineered to increase fleet uptime and performance, each Timken Set-Right kit features two Timken MileMate bearing sets and a precision-machined original equipment spacer,” said Dan Humphrey, manager of The Timken Company’s commercial vehicle aftermarket sales in the United States and Canada. “Our kits simplify wheel-end rebuilds because everything an installer needs is conveniently packaged together in one box.”

All nine Timken Set-Right hub rebuild kits for steer, drive and trailer applications are manufactured to consistently achieve proper wheel bearing settings, promoting optimum bearing and seal life, the company said.
