Blaine Waugh has been named senior vice president-business development, for Advance Business Capital (ABC), a full-service recourse and non-recourse factoring company.
Waugh is responsible for managing ABC’s existing sales force and growing the company’s general invoice factoring business. He comes to ABC after nearly 20 years at Riviera Finance, a non-recourse factor, where he was national sales manager.
“Blaine’s experience and relationships across a wide range of industries make him an excellent choice to build our general factoring business,” said Steve Hausman, ABC president and CEO. “He’ll be a real asset as we add to the types of small and medium-sized businesses we serve.”
Invoice factoring is a financial service that provides immediate cash through the sale of accounts receivable. ABC provides same-day funding as well as a suite of back-office services including billing and collection, online credit checks, break-even analysis, and business training.
