Aero Industries has named Jerry Ace general manager of its Streetsboro, OH, manufacturing and installation facility.

Ace, a 26-year industry veteran, will take over responsibility for all Streetsboro operations, the company said.

“It’s a tremendous honor to welcome Jerry back to the Aero Industries family,” said Dave Boyd, president, Aero Industries. “His industry knowledge and strong work ethic will help position our Streetsboro facility for the future as company sales increase, and we continue to perfect our commitment to customer service.”

Aero Industries’ Streetsboro facility is primarily an installation facility with capabilities to service tarping systems and liners for dump and refuse trailers as well as a full line of sliding tarp systems, side kits, boxes, and bulkheads for flatbed trailers.

“I’ve worked all across the transportation industry throughout my career, and understand the challenges and opportunities Aero faces on a daily basis,” said Ace. “I plan to make sure the Streetsboro facility continues to be a great asset for Aero and its customers.”

Ace is now in his second stint with Aero industries. He previously held the position of Indianapolis plant manager from 1998-2008. Most recently, Ace was a general manager for Metal Sales Manufacturing in Mocksville, North Carolina.
