Bergstrom announces leadership changes

Bergstrom has made leadership changes designed to further promote the company’s strategic planning and project management initiatives.

As a result of ongoing global growth, Bergstrom announced it has made leadership changes designed to further promote the company’s strategic planning and project management initiatives.

Dan Giovannetti has been appointed chief financial officer effective immediately. Giovannetti has more than 20 years of experience as a manufacturing and business professional, Bergstrom noted.

In his previous role of chief business systems management officer & global vice president of quality & 6 Sigma, Giovannetti was responsible for overseeing Bergstrom’s quality initiatives. Prior to joining Bergstrom, he worked for Pactiv Corporation in multiple roles.

Steven Rosella has been named general manager sales – off-road, school bus and PACCAR products. Rosella will continue to be dedicated to overseeing Bergstrom’s bus and off-road initiatives along with being responsible for PACCAR.

“Rosella, a 20-year veteran of the truck industry, has a track record of providing superior level of customer support and expertise,” the company said. Prior to joining Bergstrom, Rosella worked for Warner Electric as an inside sales representative and Barber Colman Company as a marketing specialist and sales manager.

Rosella’s counterpart will be Joe Kirby, who has been named general manager sales, truck. He will be responsible for all other North American Truck OEMs. “Kirby brings a breadth of experience in both OEM and Aftermarket Sales in the truck industry,” the company said.

Before joining Bergstrom, Kirby held positions in sales, marketing and product management for aftermarket distribution, national account sales, marketing and advertising, product development and application engineering at Caterpillar, Mack Trucks, Meritor and Webasto.

Jim Elliott has been appointed to the newly created role of chief quality and program development officer. “This newly created strategic role will allow Elliott to have greater focus on program management for its next generation of products as well as oversee Bergstrom’s global quality initiatives,” according to the company.     

Elliott has been with Bergstrom since 1997 and has worked in several capacities including division president, chief engineer, sales and engineering manager, HVAC business unit manager and general manager.
