Bergstrom promotes Bill Gordon and David Stoos

Bergstrom announced that it has promoted two industry veterans – Bill Gordon and David Stoos.
Bergstrom announced that it has promoted two industry veterans – Bill Gordon and David Stoos. According to the company, Gordon has been appointed to the role of division president of Bergstrom Parts. In this newly created role, he will oversee management of all Bergstrom Parts in North America as well as the U.S. distribution of the company’s international aftermarket A/C parts, the company said. “The creation of this position is to further strengthen the coordination of Bergstrom Parts and Bergstrom China and to leverage the strengths of both entities in order to grow this very important part of our company,” said Jack Shaffer, president and CEO. “Bill has more than three decades of experience in the trucking industry, during which he has created a valuable network of relationships. We’re lucky to have him as part of our team.”A 30-year veteran of the industry, Gordon was previously Global Vice President of Truck Sales as well as VP Aftermarket and NITE Sales. Before joining Bergstrom he was with Sears Manufacturing in Davenport, Iowa, where he was director of sales, according to the company.Stoos has been named director of New Business at Bergstrom, the company said, adding that in his new role, will be concentrating on growing sales for Bergstrom Standard Products and Solar.For the past seven years, Stoos was regional manager at Bergstro, promoting HVAC and climate solutions to off-road fleets and OEMs, the company noted. He was previously with Remy Inc. and General Motors Service Parts."Dave is a talented salesman who recognizes the huge opportunities in the marketplace and will help continue to grow this company,” Shaffer said.
