Continental Tire the Americas has made several changes to the management personnel within its Commercial Vehicle Tire group.
Fedérico Jiménez will now be responsible for managing sales and marketing for the commercial specialty tire business in the Americas. Previously, Jiménez managed key accounts for ports for commercial specialty tires on a global scale.
Marco Rabe has been named director of truck tire technologies for the Americas. Rabe joins the commercial vehicle tire unit from Continental’s North American passenger and light truck quality unit.
Terry Smouter has assumed responsibility for managing business development in the truck tire group, covering Continental’s advanced technology and e-business solutions. Smouter was marketing manager for Continental’s passenger and light truck tires in Canada.
Also, James Matarelli has been appointed Western regional manager for truck tires, replacing David Gibson who has moved to Continental’s North region. Matt Livigni, previously North region manager, has moved to assume responsibility for truck tires in the Canadian market.
