"This isn't your father's freight industry" might be a hoary cliche, but it aptly describes some of the ever-more unusual aspects of the global transportation and logistics business - something global delivery provider DHL knows all too well. On the one hand, the means of transport itself are moving in both new and old directions simultaneously, with DHL deploying everything from helicopter drones and electric bicycles to pole-operated punt boats to move cargo. And then cargoes themselves can be highly unusual these days, too, ranging from Formula 1 race cars to live Tigers and Pandas. All photos courtesy of DHL.
