GE Capital Fleet Services has hired Mike Scott as VP-sales to help combine expertise from the company’s fleet plus oil & gas industries to benefit energy customers in Texas and Oklahoma.

Scott will work as an embedded member of GE’s Oil & Gas team in Houston, TX, collaborating closely with GE’s energy experts, truck engineers, and fleet financing specialists to deliver GE products and services to customers.

As interest in compressed natural gas (CNG)-powered transportation grows, GE Capital Fleet Services and GE Oil & Gas are combining resources to offer financing, equipment and services to the oil & gas industry, including GE’s “CNG in a Box” program, which offers a fully-integrated CNG fueling supply system designed for commercial and retail applications.

“By helping our customers capitalize on the resources and people and domain expertise of GE Capital and GE Energy, we’re able to go beyond what other providers can offer oil & gas companies,” said Jon Parker, GE Capital Fleet’s chief commercial officer. “The addition of Mike Scott to the team will further enhance our reach and relationships in the oil and gas industry.”
