Iowa 80 Truckstop’s 34th Annual Walcott Truckers Jamboree — featuring nearly 175 exhibits; a Super Truck Beauty Contest, Antique Truck Display; Iowa pork chop cookout; Trucker Olympics; carnival games and two free concerts — will kick off today and continue for the next threedays.
Concerts will be held tonight and tomorrow featuring country singer Lindsay Lawler, courtesy of CAT Scale and Blackberry Smoke and Mobil Delvac. A fireworks display will follow.
The Truckers Jamboree is hosted every year at the Iowa 80 Truckstop, I-80 Exit 284, Walcott, IA. Since its inception in 1979, the Truckers Jamboree has been celebrating America’s truckers.
The Walcott Truckers Jamboree attracts approximately 30,000 attendees each year. Admission is free and shuttles will provide transportation from parking lots to the event site.
