Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America names gm for Canadian operations

Brian Shantz has been named general manager of Canadian operations for Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America (MFTA).

Shantz began his career with MFTA in 1999 as the director of sales for the new MFTA subsidiary, Mitsubishi Fuso Truck Canada (MFTC).

“In his lead role at MFTC, Brian has played an integral part in the growth and success of Mitsubishi Fuso Truck Canada, and in our sales of Fuso medium-duty work trucks across Canada. His insight and drive have served him well and make him a valuable asset to the company, and a valuable resource for our dealers and customers,” said Todd Bloom, president & CEO of MFTA.

Before joining MFTA, Shantz worked extensively in the truck business, including assignments at Navistar and Volvo GM Heavy Truck.
