PeopleNet and TMW to host joint user conference in 2016

PeopleNet and TMW Systems announced they will combine their separate annual user conferences into a single event in 2016.

In an effort to offer a broader transportation industry perspective, both companies said they are rebranding their traditional user education programs under a new event identity as “IN.SIGHT.” The joint event will be held in Nashville at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center from Sept. 25-28, 2016.

“By combining our audiences, our strong programs and the extensive partner and exhibitor networks that have been features of our individual user conferences before, both TMW and PeopleNet expect to set a new transportation industry standard for comprehensive solution presentation, customer focus and technology innovation,” says David Wangler, president of TMW Systems. “Not only can our customers learn to increase the benefits realized from technology they already own, but they will also be treated to a new breadth of connected transportation industry solutions.”

Transportation service providers and fleet operations from across North America that make use of solutions from either or both Trimble companies are expected to attend IN.SIGHT. The event will provide opportunities for customers to gain broader and deeper exposure to many industry-leading technologies, while exchanging new ideas and best practices with industry peers.

“The goal of this joint conference is not simply to highlight technical integrations but to build a transformative vision for connected transportation technologies that our combined approaches can offer customers,” says Brian McLaughlin, president of PeopleNet. “With PeopleNet’s strength in mobile technology solutions and TMW’s enterprise technology leadership, the IN.SIGHT conference will be able to offer attendees a unique view into the dynamic transportation business landscape that simply can’t be matched elsewhere.”

IN.SIGHT will feature educational sessions, speakers and networking opportunities. For more information, visit http://insightuserconference.com/.
