Proper disposal for Old Glory

Aug. 7, 2015

Advanced Disposal, an integrated environmental services company, is offering to properly dispose of old, worn, torn and faded American flags at all of its 226 locations through Sept. 11 in accordance with the United States Flag Code, or recycle them in a dignified manner by companies specializing in flag recycling.

“We want the communities we serve to know that if their flag needs to be retired, they can simply bring it to their local Advanced Disposal facility, and it will be our honor to properly retire it,” noted CEO Richard Burke.
