SkyBitz now offers a fleet management solution for sales, service and delivery vehicles with the launch of SkyBitz Local Fleets.

“The new offering, from the division by the same name, delivers a set of best-in-class products and services that enable owner/operators and fleet managers to maximize technology investments that keep their business running at peak efficiency,” according to the company. “SkyBitz Local Fleets is built upon the recent acquisitions of two leading commercial telematics companies in the local fleet management market, Reltima, and GPS North America.”

SkyBitz said Local Fleets offers a range of fleet, asset and driver intelligence, GPS tracking, driver efficiency and safety tools for fleets of all sizes. “SkyBitz Local Fleets gives fleet operators visibility into vehicle location, fuel usage, speed and mileage through real-time automated reporting,” the company said.

With the launch of SkyBitz Local Fleets, the company introduces the Customer Success Team to provide support and insights to ensure customers receive the most optimal use of the solution.

“With this launch, SkyBitz is taking the next step in expanding its leadership in commercial telematics," said Henry Popplewell, president. “Our solutions and personalized, consultative approach are designed to alleviate the headaches of fleet management by delivering helpful, actionable and real-time data and support. SkyBitz Local Fleets allows our customers to spend more time working to grow their business while our technology cuts costs through subtle improvements to employee driving habits.”

 The SkyBitz Local Fleets solution comprises GPS tracking devices that deliver real-time actionable information to a cloud-based platform. Built upon the SkyBitz as a Service platform, SkyBitz Local Fleets also offers customers a subscription based model. According to the company, the benefit of a subscription is that it eliminates the need for upfront investment and the overhead of maintaining deep fleet management expertise in-house.
