Strategies for staying in business

Sept. 12, 2014

Let’s face it; fleets are NOT going to see cheaper trucks and fuel, a rush of people begging to become drivers, disappearing regulations, or a Camelot-like sweeping away of traffic congestion before dawn everyday any time soon. Instead, the job of trucking has become tougher and tougher and the results have been devastating for many carriers. According to Dan Murray, vice president of the American Trucking Research Institute (ATRI), even in this so-called “good economy,” fleet bankruptcies have been increasing dramatically.

So, how on earth do carriers thrive or even survive in such an environment? Murray and co-speaker Paul Newbourne, senior vice president logistics operations for Armada Supply Chain Solutions, are speaking during a free webinar next Wednesday, September 17, at 2:00 p.m. EDT. They will provide an up-close look at the realities of today’s operating environment and share unique cooperative/collaborative strategies designed to help you and your customers improve efficiency and profitability together.

This free event is being presented by Fleet Owner and sponsored by Telogis.  You can register online.
