Trincon to hold webinar on increased profitability

Feb. 22, 2016
Trincon Group will kick off a new series of webinars for trucking company executives and owners focusing on increasing productivity and profitability in 2016.

Trincon Group, a national transportation industry advisory and technology firm, announced that on Feb. 25, it will kick off a new series of educational webinars for trucking company executives and owners focusing on increasing productivity and profitability in 2016. According to the company, the series will begin by taking an in-depth look at Solutions for Increasing Trucking Profitability.

As Duff Swain, president of Trincon, points out: “This is a time of considerable uncertainty in the industry. Individual trucking firms have to do all they can to put themselves on a solid financial footing. While freight demand picked up in 2015, some analysts are predicting a slowdown in 2016.  Low diesel fuel prices have helped generate increased profits, but there is no guarantee they will last – in fact it’s almost certain they won’t.”

“It is time for company owners and executive to move past the “discussion” stage, and start talking about practical solutions – that’s what this series of educational programs and webinars will be all about,” he continued. “Like or not, 2016 is going to see even move changes within the industry and those changes are going to require some tough choices, commitment, and discipline on the part of company executives.”
