Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) has announced it will present a free educational webinar on selective catalytic reduction (SCR), an emissions control technology, live from the Technology & Maintenance Council’s SuperTech Forum being held in Raleigh, NC, this week.

The “SCR 101-- Getting Ready for EPA 2010” webinar will be presented on September 15 and 16 at 9 am, 1 pm and 7 pm (EDT) and feature experts from both DTNA and Detroit Diesel.

According to DTNA, the webinar will include a 30-minute overview of the new 2010 emissions standards and SCR as well as updates on the availability and handling of Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF), which enables SCR systems.
