Peterbilt Motors Co. has launched a green technologies website as the company begins making its new medium-duty hybrid vehicles available for customer order.

Vehicles featured on the website include the Model 330 and Model 335 hybrid electric vehicles, the Model 320 Hydraulic Launch Assist (HLA) and the Model 386 Class 8 longhaul hybrid electric development platform, Peterbilt said.

Other sections featured on the site include the ecoNavigator, which showcases where the 330 and 335 hybrids are being displayed in conjunction with the Peterbilt Medium Duty Hybrid National Demonstration Program; an ecoOpportunity section which gives information on state and federal incentives for hybrid technologies, and a feature on the latest in Peterbilt sustainability efforts, the company said.

“Peterbilt is at the forefront of developing hybrid technologies that reduce emissions and increase fuel economy,” said Bill Jackson, Peterbilt gm and Paccar vp. “Our new Green Technologies website spotlights Peterbilt’s technological advances which allow customers to reduce their carbon footprint while increasing their overall fuel efficiency.”
