Wireless communications service provider Aeris has announced it will be providing wireless connectivity, billing, and hosting services to Earthwave Technologies for its fleet and construction management solutions.

The GS-307 hardened telematics unit, developed by The Morey Corporation, will collect GPS and vehicle data and transmit the information to Earthwave’s office. The data will be delivered to Earthwave’s customers in easy-to-utilize reports, increasing productivity and eliminating excess expense, the company said.

"We are pleased to bring Earthwave and Morey together. Earthwave Technologies has secured a stronghold in the fleet and construction market, and we are pleased that our long-standing relationship continues to evolve to meet their application requirements with Morey," said Mark Cratsenburg, senior vp of sales at Aeris.

"We chose Aeris due to its position as the leading network provider in the telematics market, as well as its ability to meet our ever-evolving requirements," said Mike Paredes, vp of Earthwave Technologies. "Over the past seven years Aeris has consistently delivered a comprehensive network services solution with top notch customer service, and we look forward to continuing our relationship over the coming years."
