PeopleNet has announced a new focus on French-speaking markets in North America, releasing a French version of PeopleNet BLU and appointing Richard Budzyn, who is bilingual, as an account manager.

“This is something we have wanted to do for a long time,” PeopleNet CEO Ron Konezny said. “Trucks from excellent fleets based in Quebec are a familiar sight on highways across North America. We look forward to serving these international fleets as well as fleets that operate closer to home within French speaking regions,”

Budzyn will serve PeopleNet accounts in English- and French-speaking eastern Canada, the company said. He comes to PeopleNet Canada from Shaw Tracking, where he worked for 13 years.
