On September 21, Instructional Technologies, Inc. (ITI) recorded the start of their one-millionth lesson. According to the company, Timothy Murphy of Schneider National had the honor of doing the millionth lesson when he took the new Pro-Tread "Winter Driving" unit.

The one-million figure includes both Tread-1 and Pro-Tread lessons completed since US Xpress began training with Tread-1 in September 2000, noted Bruce Weiss, executive vp, business development for ITI.

About 1000 lessons are started every day, according to Weiss, at more than 130 ITI client companies.
